Camera Ready Instructions for Authors

Detailed instructions on what to send and how to prepare the camera-ready version of your paper.

When you prepare the final version of your paper, it is important that you pay special attention the reviewers' comments, and make every effort to address them. Your paper must be laid out according to the Camera Ready Copy format required by Springer LNCS. For the style files, please refer to Springer's LNCS webpage www.springeronline.com/lncs. You will find all information relevant to contributing authors regarding the LNCS print/electronic publication process.

Please keep in mind that there is a strict size limitation of 14 pages for all papers.

Springer needs all the electronic files, most importantly the source files, of all parts of your manuscript. They also require a final PDF of each paper. 

Springer has recently introduced an extra control loop, subsequent to receipt of the manuscript from me. They will contact the corresponding authors and ask them to check their papers for the final time. The purpose of this extra control loop is to ensure that no errors have crept in during the publication process. They will not accept any updates (minor or major) to the papers themselves at this stage, nor will they correct any mistakes made by you themselves, as this would slow down the publication procedure considerably. Hence, we will need from you the corresponding author's email address that they could use to email page proofs.

3. Email of the corresponding author for page proofs

The deadline for the receipt of the camera ready copy is August 27, 2005.

Also, please download the copyright form from the aforementioned Springer web site and fax the signed form at +1 703 993 4776, attention to Sushil Jajodia.

One final point: The email from Springer will come from an email address in India and will have an attachment (the PDF), so the corresponding authors should make sure that emails with attachments aren't automatically filtered out.
